I tested:
Ashampoo
Free Easy Burner (koyote soft)
CDBurnerXP
and they all allow a minimum speed of 16x, while Roxio toast titanium on my Mac writes also @ 8x.
WHY ???

Wasn't EAC only for extraction purposes?
I'm speaking of burning softwares...
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Correcting myself,
just tested and found the burn CD option on EAC, but it always allows to write at a minimum of 16x.
Does it depend on the hardware used??
Anyway have to say that EAC is very accurate for extracting audio files, many cool features, thanks!

Many people though that EAC is only for ripping!
But the program is very good at burning audio CD! And I think burning speed depends on media you used!
